This program further develops the social, emotional and cognitive skills
with a
strong emphasis on kindergarten readiness. Skills
such as name recognition and writing, the
recognition
and naming of numbers and letters, and language and listening skills are the
focus
of this program. Parents have the option of choosing a 2, 3, 4 or 5
day program for their child,
creating a pre-school experience that can fit into your family’s already
busy
schedule. This also leaves open the possibility of changing the number
of days your child attends (for example: after a few months of school, the
parents of a child who regularly attends on Monday, Wednesday and Friday may
decide to add Tuesday and Thursday to their child’s program). The
in-class curriculum will consist of three “core learning activities” per
week. Students who attend more than three days receive additional,
complementary instruction on the “add-on” days, reinforcing the learning
topics of the week. In addition to the in-class learning activities,
students have the opportunity to receive instruction by our music
specialist, Mrs. Stella, have “Jesus time” in the chapel, as well as
physical education, twice per week.

a sample week’s schedule for each class
offered including the maximum number of students in the classroom.
