This program is geared especially to meet the needs children
entering Kindergarten.
The in-class curriculum will consist of reading and math
skills that will compliment the programs of area schools. Children
will experience reading, math, writing and many other skills during our Kindergarten program. This class is taught by a reading
specialist. Children that attend morning Kindergarten at Putnam Valley
Elementary School will be bused to St. Luke's to attend our afternoon
program. These children will enjoy lunch with their friends and then
start their daily activities. They will be able to experience learning
on a more in-depth level than with just the morning program at their
elementary school. This program offers the children a chance to expand
their learning a great deal.
